Oceana's wide open decks give you plenty of room to enjoy sunny days by the pool or a casual stroll around the Promenade deck, which also hosts deck games such as shuffleboard and quoits. Bars are something of a feature on board Oceana, with no less than 12 to choose from. During the day many of them are used for competitions and quizzes as well as port talks and enrichment classes, whilst in the evening you can enjoy a variety of different entertainment including live music and dancing. The Yacht and Compass bar has a distinctly British feel to it, with well-known ales and beers plus pub quizzes and live bands. Winners' is a great modern bar adjacent to the Monte Carlo casino and is a popular spot for pre and post dinner drinks, whilst Starlights Show Lounge hosts dancing, live music, comedians and cabaret acts. Head to Footlights Theatre for fantastic West-End style shows, or dance the night away in Le Club nightclub, which received a brand new look during Oceana's latest refurbishment.
The Oasis Spa on board Oceana is a peaceful haven where you can relax and unwind. Choose from a variety of traditional and modern treatments such as massages and hot stone therapy in the sea-view treatment rooms, relieve stresses and strains in the sauna, or simply relax in the outdoor pool and whirlpools which are conveniently located right outside the spa. You can also make use of the Oasis Salon which is adjacent to the spa and offers a great choice of hair and beauty treatments. Oceana's gym is close to the spa area and is well equipped with the latest fitness machines and weights, plus a separate exercise area for fitness classes such as aerobics, yoga and spinning. Oceana makes such good use of the space on board that even the ships funnel has an alternative use! Cleverly housed within the lower part of the funnel is the sports court where you can play a variety of sports including basketball, football and tennis.
Oceana has always been a popular choice for families and it's easy to see why with such great children's facilities. The Reef is the dedicated children's club which is available every day for children aged 2 to 17 years of age. The club is split up into smaller age groups and offers a fantastic variety of activities and facilities to suit that age group. Younger children can take part in games, treasure hunts and games whilst older children will have talent contests, pool parties and sports games. There is also a children's splash pool located close to the children's area. Teens have their own area where they can listen to music, watch the latest movies and play the latest games consoles, plus there are sports tournaments, movie nights and pool parties. The children's clubs are usually open from 9am until 10.30pm, although this may be slightly later during peak times and school holidays. There is also a Night Nursery available for under 5's from 6pm until 2am and during school holidays Slumber Time is available for 5 to 8 year olds from 10.30pm until midnight.
