Black Watch has lots of great leisure and entertainment facilities, so whether you're spending the day at sea between ports or just looking for something to do in the evening, there is always plenty going on. In the evening, catch a late night movie at the cinema in the Marina Theatre, or enjoy an after dinner cocktail and dancing in the Lido Lounge. The Neptune Lounge plays host to a variety of shows from cabaret acts to live bands and it's a great place to dance the night away, and the gaming tables are always available if you want to try your hand at Black Jack or Roulette.
Although Black Watch is a small ship, she still has plenty of places for you to relax and unwind. The Atlantis Spa and Beauty Salon offers a wide variety of indulgent treatments each day, ranging from Swedish massage, reflexology and facials, to body wraps, manicures and pedicures; plus you can take a dip in one of the swimming pools and ease stresses and strains in the jacuzzis or sauna. Black Watch also has an impressive gym and fitness centre to help you work off all the delicious food you'll be eating. The gym features sea views and a variety of machines including rowing machines and treadmills, and there are also various exercise classes that you can join in with such as aerobics and dance lessons. If you're not a fan of the gym then you can take a walk or jog around the promenade deck - one lap is approx. 1 mile - and join in with a golf or tennis tournament up on Sun Deck.
Black Watch is not only named after the famous Scottish Black Watch regiment, but she also has a Scottish-themed bar onboard too.
Black Watch is a family-friendly ship and welcomes all children aged 6 months to 17 years of age. However, due to the size of the ship, organised children's activities are only held during Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays when the minimum number of children on the cruise is reached. The children's club is generally available for children aged 5 to 11 years, but this may increase if a greater number of children of a particular age group are sailing onboard. The club is fully supervised by trained staff and activities include treasure hunts, competitions, games, arts and crafts, parties, sports competitions and cooking classes.
