Life onboard Queen Elizabeth moves at a very relaxed pace. Up on deck you will find a first for Cunard with a bowls and croquet lawn, as well as traditional deck games and sports courts. If you prefer something a little slower-paced then there is ample room to soak up the sun around one of the swimming pools or perhaps take a leisurely stroll around the promenade deck. In the evening the ship comes alive with everything from musical productions in the Royal Court Theatre, live music in the Yacht Club and ballroom dancing in the Queen's Room. You can also try your luck at black jack or roulette in Empire's Casino, or perhaps head across to the Golden Lion pub for pub quizzes, karaoke and music.
The Royal Spa and Fitness Centre is the perfect place to while away an hour or two. In the gym you will find a wide variety of the latest fitness equipment as well as an aerobics area for classes including yoga and spinning. In the Royal Spa you are spoilt for choice with a great range of indulgent treatments available in the sea-view rooms that include reflexology, facials and massages. The Royal Bath House is a social area with a hydrotherapy pool and thermal suite with saunas and heated ceramic loungers.
As the second largest ship in the Cunard fleet, a staggering 86% of cabins on Queen Elizabeth have an ocean view. With over 70% of those cabins featuring a balcony, it's now even easier to experience the wonderful sea views all from the comfort of your own cabin.
Queen Elizabeth is a great choice for families with a range of activities and facilities available and dedicated children's clubs run by fully trained nannies. For young children there is the Play Zone which has a soft play area and activities include games, quizzes, movies and interactive learning.
