Caribbean Ports

Grand Cayman

This Island is a firm favourite amongst cruisers. Bloody Wall Bay is a must see on your cruise holiday. The site is world famous and is said to be one of the most renowned diving sites in the world. Another place to visit here is Seven Mile Beach. One of the world's most pristine beaches and located to the northern end you will find some amazing snorkeling opportunities that are just off shore. Grand Cayman is usually found on a Western Caribbean itinerary and cruise ships dock in downtown George Town.

St Kitts

This Island is one of the most un-spoiled islands within the Caribbean. First spotted by Christopher Columbus in 1493 the island flourished with a valuable sugar trade and is now one of the most desired islands to visit. Your time in St Kitts can be used to explore the islands amazing culture and best of all some fantastic diving opportunities. If you are hoping to explore the area's shops then the best place to visit is Basseterre which is in fact the islands capital. Here you will find numerous small craft shops and larger shopping malls selling everything from the latest music to locally handmade souvenirs. St Kitts also boasts some amazing historical sites for those who wish to experience the true workings of the island. Some of the most popular sites include Independence Square formerly known as Pall Mall Square which is in the heart of Basseterre. South of Independence Square you will also find the remains of the 18th century Georgian House which now houses a local insurance agency.

Barbados is a regular addition to Caribbean cruise holiday itineraries, the island is popular and bursting with natural beauty. A must see whilst enjoying your trip here is Harrison's Cave. You will be driven in trams through the natural caves where you will encounter what is referred to as one of "the seven wonders of Barbados". The cave boasts an amazing sight of stalactites hanging from the roof and stalagmites that emerge effortlessly from the ground. There is also a fresh water stream which with ease drifts into a large pool located at the very bottom of the cave. Visitors can exit the tram once it reaches the lowest level and explore on foot. Barbados wildlife reserve is located in the northern parish of St Peter and it is here that you can experience nature at its very best. Get up close and personal with Barbados' famous Green Monkeys, beautiful parrots, Flamingos, Turtles and much more. If that is not enough you may also be pleased to know your entrance fee into Barbados wildlife reserve also allows you entry into Grenade Hall Forest and Signal Station.

St Lucia

Another paradise within the Caribbean Sea is St Lucia. Filled with what can only be described as "the stuff dreams are made of". This island is full of tropical rain forests where you will find the most colourful birds of paradise and lush greenery you could only ever imagine watching on TV. Water sports are again popular on this island as they are on many other of the Caribbean islands. From windsurfing to snorkeling and diving there is something to please every thrill seeker. The most famous landmark in St Lucia is The Pitons, twin peaks near Soufriere topping 2,000 feet. Guided tours are available and make sure your tour also includes Mt Gimie. This is St Lucia's highest point at 3,117 feet and is the ideal location to view The Pitons along with stunning views of the emerging rain forest. For something a little more down to earth you can also enjoy a day at Latille Gardens where you will find waterfalls, amazing tropical flowers and some of the most delicious fruit to ever pass your lips.
