Cruise & Maritime Voyages is Britain's newest privately owned cruise line with a fleet of 6 small size ships, operating no fly cruises from a choice of 11 UK ports. Cruise & Maritime Voyages offer a traditional British cruise experience with the emphasis on providing delicious cuisine, stylish entertainment and a wide range of leisure facilities to enrich your time on board. They appeal predominantly to adult couples and groups of friends over the age of 65 who enjoy the smaller ship size, and they are very popular with single travellers who are able to take advantage of their low single supplements. Cruise & Maritime Voyages have one of the highest levels of repeat passengers of any cruise line and this is due to the excellent levels of service you receive onboard and the fantastic choice of leisure, entertainment and dining facilities.

Food & Drink

The main dining restaurant offers fixed-time seating for dinner at two set times, and offers traditional cuisine and international specialities. All ships offer a casual alternative to the formal restaurants allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed buffet-style meal and room service is available in cabin at selected times. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are available from self-service machines throughout the ships.

Entertainment

The entertainment onboard a Cruise and Maritime ship ranges from swimming pools and deck games, to live performances, guest speakers or sunbathing, meaning there really is something to suit everyone. All of the ships offer a variety of options for during the day, a work-out in the gym; a make-over in the beauty salon; a swim in the pool; a good book from the library, or you could learn a new skill from one of the arts and crafts specialists onboard. In the evening, the bars and lounges feature ‘big show’ productions, guest acts, cabarets and classical interludes, there’s something for everyone on board.

Destinations

Cruise & Maritime Voyages sail to a variety of ports across the globe, including destinations in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, the Norwegian Fjords, Iceland and the Faroes and further afield with a Grand Voyage. The ships depart from several UK ports including Belfast, Bristol, Cardiff, Dublin, Liverpool, Newcastle, Greenock and Hull to name a few. They also offer a selection of Grand Voyages that sail to the West Indies, Amazon, Caribbean and Canada in the fall. Magellan will be sailing a World Cruise in 2017, ranging from 40 nights to 120 nights and visiting a combination of South America, Caribbean, Australia, Asia and the Mediterranean.

Adult Only Ships

Cruise & Maritime Voyages ships Magellan, Marco Polo and Astoria (formerly Azores) operate as ‘child free’ ships for the enjoyment of adult passengers, This means that even during school holiday times you can enjoy the pleasures of cruising in the company of adult passengers only.

Dining

Cruise and Maritime prides themselves on offering a superb choice of food onboard all of their ships, with many popular British and International dishes available in each restaurant. Indulge with a freshly-prepared cooked breakfast in the main dining room, enjoy an al fresco lunch out on the open deck, or take the relaxed approach in the informal buffet restaurant for a themed dinner. Many dishes can be made to suit your particular tastes and there are always vegetarian choices and healthy options available for those who are watching the waistline!

Main Dining (Fixed Seating Dining)

The main dining restaurant offers fixed-time seating for dinner at two set times, and offers traditional cuisine and international specialities. When you book your cruise, you will be given a choice of first or second seating at either approximately 6.00pm and 8.30pm. This time is then booked for the duration of your cruise, and you can also request a preferred table size of 2, 4, 6 or 8.

All ships offer a casual alternative to the formal restaurants allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed buffet-style meal and room service is available in cabin at selected times. Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities are available from self-service machines throughout the ships.

Drinks Packages

Cruise & Maritime offer an all-inclusive drinks package on board enabling you to budget your drink costs and avoid any surprise bar bills at the end of your cruise. The package is available for purchase on board within the first 24 hours of embarking or can be purchased prior to sailing by completing and returning this form; The cost will be charged to your on board account.
