Food and Drink
Celebrity Cruises prides themselves on offering the very best cuisine at sea, with a huge choice of restaurants available day and night. All of the ships feature at least one main dining room, plus an informal buffet restaurant so that you can dine more casually at a time to suit you. For days when you want to treat yourself to something really special there are a range of fantastic speciality restaurants available, including Tuscan Grille, Murano, Silk Harvest, and new contemporary restaurant Qsine. In addition to this there are some really great alternative restaurants like cafes, pool-side grills, sushi bars, coffee shops, and 24-hour room service. All of the restaurants serve a variety of soft drinks, tea, coffee and water, plus you will find an extensive range of wine, beer and spirits available too.
Whether you are sailing around the Galapagos Islands on Celebrity Xpedition, or taking in the sights of bustling European cities on Celebrity Eclipse, you will find each ship is brimming with things to do and see. Activities during the day can range from a game of bridge, a stroll around the duty-free shops or relaxing spa treatment, to port talks, wine tasting and dance lessons. And of course, there is always plenty of space to lounge by the pool and soak up the sun. In the evening the ships have an excellent range of dazzling entertainment, with lively bars and lounges hosting live music and dancing. In the theatre you can enjoy spectacular Broadway and Cirque du Soleil-style shows, whilst the smaller show lounges feature an array of fantastic cabaret acts, comedy and musicians. You can also join in with the various formal nights that are held throughout the cruise, including the Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party and the Farewell Dinner.
Celebrity Cruises have been a popular choice for family cruising for many years. On board all of the ships except Celebrity Xpedition, you will find a fantastic choice of fun and exciting activities for children aged 3 to 17 years of age. The Fun Factory is designed for children aged between 3 and 12 years old. This fun-filled entertainment centre is brimming with things to do, including arts and crafts, karaoke, treasure hunts, parties, games and sports. For young children there are also a range of interactive learning toys and games. Teens aged 13 to 17 years old can hang out with their friends in their own separate room. There are lots of social activities including movie nights, dinner parties, karaoke nights and teens-only dances, as well as sports tournaments, all the latest chart music, and the newest games consoles with a whole host of different games. Celebrity Cruises also offer babysitting service either in the children's clubs or within your cabin. The Slumber Party is available between 10pm and 1am at a cost of $6 per hour, per child, or for in-cabin babysitting there is a charge of $19 per hour for up to three children in the same family.
